sort of here....

It feels like we temporarily fell of the face of the earth:) Ever since we got back from our travels I have just felt swamped....first it was doing the business taxes (due last wednesday) then I got a cold from pulling long hours on the taxes, then I did our taxes and then Monday Allison got the throw-ups just as I was falling asleep so held her the whole night. She was fine by Tuesday morning, but then last night Mariah did the same so I hugged her the whole night, sleeping only in winks. Mariah at least can use a bucket. Then, Mike came home sick from work today! At least he can take care of himself for the most part :) Either by the grace of God or by my stellar immune system (which usually isn't that good) I have escaped it so far, but we'll see how tonight goes. I'm hoping for about 9 hours of uninterrupted sleep...

In other news, I have been communicating with some people in the civil engineering department about my application (did everyone know that I put in my application for going to school in the fall for a master's in civil engineering??). Well, I have a few professors that would like to meet with me which is exciting -- I didn't expect so much interest, but aparently math converts to engineering are nice:) I'll keep you updated on that. Well, it's bedtime, but I just wanted to say hi...I've been missing all of you and the mental outlet of the blog!
